Usually, for inside offense, you use inside defense. So, it seems like 2-3 is the best against Look Inside. However, there's some credibility to the theory that it might be better to stop the PG/SG from passing the ball inside, so some prefer using 3-2. Another reason is that even though Look Inside is inside-focused, the team may eventually adjust and shoot more outside shots as the game progresses.

i personally like the way, but you should to be sure that he made it because a 2-3 could hurt if the opponent switch to an outside attack.

My experience with LI after 2 (or maybe 3, 2 much uzo, cant remember) says that on the inside tactics guards will take lots of shots anyway, and the most of teams doesnt have the proper SF for it. My advice? 2-3 zone is not an option in general. If you have dept on big men maybe 3-2 is the right option because your big men will be in a foul trouble, and the rebs will be an issue. From the other side you can stop the outside shooting plus the inside passes. The safest choice? man to man (as always).

In my experience running LP for 3 seasons, you should almost never run 2-3 zone because if you are running LI or LP than your team is a big man and pretty dominant inside team and your C and PF's ID and IS should be able to beat a 2-3 zone. You should run a different defense like 3-2 because the guard spots are where you are weaker at and you want your defense to be focused there. Just my two cents.

No, only if you have a really good inside defence or they have a really bad inside defence, or both.

use 2-3 when your C have reb and ID advantage, against all opponent players.
it will kept him inside therefore maximize his effect against all drive in and post up
but one of opponent's wing player will be open. if all 3 of them can shoot,
the open playe will have good shooting night.

use 3-2 when ur 2 inside player is capable of holidng their own and opponents game flow is lower than ur OD
u will force away the 1st entry pass of opponent to its best inside player, therefore limit the opponent biggest gun to get the ball at the scoring position

use m2m only if u know all ur player can hold their own against their match up. especially against LP, your opponent can kill u in 1 wrong mismatch

131 and fcp is a little risky, but its not unhear of. If the TO benefit can outrage the reb and ID lost, why not give it a try
