I assume you want to train him as a Guard since he has a good height for that. Firstly, you should get yourself a second trainee. Someone similar to Radomir (small/young). Now that you have two trainees for guard training it is most likely to play them at PG and train one position training skills (OD/PA/HA and JR for SG). Let these skills increase equally and you'll have two nice players after one or two seasons. Afterwards you can add a few more trainees to make two position training at guards for JS/DR.

This is the way I did it and one opportunity you have now.

Yeah I am planning on making Radomir a pure PG and then if I get another trainee making him SG:)

Do you mean how to manage minutes for one position training?
I let my first trainee start the league games and back him up with the second one. At the scrimmage I start my second trainee and back him up with the third.
Thats what I used to do when I trained my PG.
