The BBs looked into the reason behind the recent Melbourne Goldfish 143 - 25 Bedrocker game

This happened because the previous owner sold all of his players, set a default lineup with only 2 players and then did not log in for 6 weeks.

When the Computer Manager took control of the team last week it put all 3 players in the lineup.

This meant the minimum of 3 players was now achieved and the team did not forfeit as usual. Unfortunately for most teams on the Great 8 conference it means Melbourne Goldfish (and soon Jindera Strikers) has got a lot more point differential out of beating team than others teams.
For all teams in the Big 8 it won't make any difference because they will all get to play him again.

The BBs have decided that it is unfortunate that this has happened but they are not going to set a precedent by fixing this rare issue. We hope you all understand our perspective.

teams go bot when they go bot.. there isn't really anything that can be done, so it sounds fair to me.

while i am sure no-one will sympathise with us we were annoyed at the time to see that while everyone else got to get an automatic win with no risk of injuries and that they could just freely allocate training minutes as they saw fit we had to actually play a game

now having done the game and having had no injuries and achieved a massive points spread we feel great but we didnt at the time

this sucks that they went inactive in such a stupid way in the first place if the manager had just left a couple of extra $1000 players in the lineup it would have been better for everyone

for the rest of the season it will be a points bonanza
