Been talking to quite a few people recently as I've only been playing for about a month. The question I've been asking is if it's better to train Guards or Big men or if it matters really. I just wondered what most people thought about this and if there really seemed to be one that is better than the other or if it was just a preference thing.

In my opinion training Centers are better for your team in terms of winning, however i am training Pg, and SF... :-(

Centers are hard, they have to be 6' 9'' (or 6' 10'') or taller, a perennial all-star center will max out in 3 season at single position training, with a level 5 or above trainer and a perennial can sell around 4 to 5 million right now, superstars and above sell resonably at 5-7 million and at this current time, a center

current bid is 6.5 mil ends in 3 days potential hall of famer, age 21

As per usual from you that is terrible advice. if you want a balanced team you are better off training one or two positions every week and selling players to fill up yr bank account. people will often pay way too much for strong and proficient guard skills and i have been successful selling players trained in jump shot for 400 000 or more after buying them for less than 10 thousand and training them for a few weeks. soon i will be able to buy a star centre. this has worked fine as a short term plan but i still have a lot to learn.

why do you give advice if you know nothing?

i agree with you totally i have been playing this game for a very short time, and having only recently discovered the forums i have been reading a large amount of posts, a previous tenant of the uni house i lived in wrote a guide to this game and listed a few "mentors" to get advice from, and also listed a few players who never to listen to, ill let you come to the conclusion of which one a certain player is.
