I've never done it in the past, but is this a good thing to train the first few weeks of the season.... or a waste of time?

Giving players 55-65 minutes you'll keep GS at level of 8-9, so I think it's a waste of time. Some train game shape during play-offs, but I'm not likely to start with it.
We are the ones who wanna play, always wanna go but we never wanna stay

first, dont do it this week because it won't matter
in general, it's a waste of time, better to train actual attributes.
i have never trained it since i started playing
the only reason to do so is, probably, before important games or if you have to over play your players
