When players get older (let's say 33+yrs), they start dropping skill levels.
Also, all players tend to lose some stamina during the season, regardless of their age or playing minutes. Not more than one level per season, anyway.

You can tell, that a skill dropped if there's an arrow next to the skill facing down.
That usually happens on Friday, as there is the trainings update.

If there is no arrow, there is no skill up or down...

It vanishes after a week, when the new training updates happen.

Still an18 year old won't lose skills, exept for stamina.

If your players seem to play worse, that might be, because of the game shape.
Your Center Ames for instance played for about 120 minutes last week (all three games combined).
Your player should have like 60 minutes, so it has a good effect on his game shape.
120 minutes is way too much, so the game shape gets worse.

im pretty sure what he means is his players played worse in his last game so he thinks there skills got worse, his new to the game.

shaq you played a stronger team thats why your guys didnt play as expected.
challange me to a scrimmage next week if you want.

only oldies players have actual skill drops (down arrow) and from what i have seen its only 1 or 2 drops a season
