Buckner Bandits Season 69 Preview

Another season, another new League. Welcome to League IV.20. The Bandits are in the Great 8 and judging by a quick league overview, will be fighting for a top 3 finish.

The bandits continue their Home Grown method, with continuing to train their bigs for the current season. This season, Coach Lit is having them focus on Rebounding. ""We want our guys to have a mindset of being big inside, tough and physical. Our bigs should end each game with 4 or 5 fouls. We want to win every loose ball and limit offensive rebounds."

Last year the Bandits had a fantastic regular season, then Coach Lit went on Summer Vacation and forgot all about BB so the team struggled at the end of the season and the playoffs.

Season 68 Team Strengths
Elite Ball Movement: 31.3 assists per game shows the unselfishness and fluidity of the offense.

Paint Domination: With nearly 50 rebounds per game, the frontcourt controlled the glass.

Shooting Efficiency: Over 50% from the field and 44% from three as a team—elite-level numbers.

Depth: 10 players averaged over 8 points per game, showcasing how deep and reliable this rotation is.

Season 69
We probably are not going to keep any of our draftees, maybe just one of them, (Joshua Carter) and we are going to say good bye to one of our better players to ever wear a Bandits jersey, Grover Patterson.

Grover was our first true Star and lynchpin inside when the Bandits were formed. We are going to miss him and hope nothing but the best for him!

Welcome everyone to Season 69 in IV.20!
Principia Discordia is currently focusing on building infrastructure to support a strong team and a ravid fanbase.
We sold a very talented young prospect in Waldo Wallis, but acquired $1.25m for the transaction. He will be missed, but a merch booth and TV & Radio station will be named in his honor.
I wasn't able to get to 20/20 ID/SB on his build due to poor management of minutes late in the season. We have acquired some new prospects and will be training them 1v1 F for nearly the entire season and see what offers we can get near the end of the season.
We do not expect to take the #1 seed in IV.20 this season, but a stronger playoff performance is desired to maintain a strong fan base.

You have a strong team, don't be suprised if you make a run during the playoffs!

Grats on the win. I had my best talent in the first game. I'm still surprised I won that one. Nava is still a trainee. Most of my team lacks offensive power, but I have some great inside defenders.
I'm debating on rotating some mid 20's starters for training, or focusing on training young talent to sell at a later date. I had 7 potential trainees, plus some starters that are still at a good age for training. That's too many to handle at the moment. I may have to leave a few of them out. I recently listed my weakest trainee, not for a lack of talent, but solely by comparison.

As I said before, I'm still building up my team, and I need infrastructure to support talent. I can't maintain the player salary of the top 6 teams in this league. Most my players are young and salary efficient. I'm a few seasons away from competing for the #1 spot.

I hear ya, I am going with the homegrown build so the gym and the traning has been nice. Also the merch increase throughout the year of having those players helps.
