Oh yeah, and BB App? I mean come on. How hard is it. You want to get rid of cheaters signing up like crazy? limit signing up in a way, make a perk of some sort, figure it out. It can't be that hard to make it more secure. BB App is a must, and it must be free.
Not the right thread, but I fail to see the link between App and Sign-Up. Are you arguing for people to prove they exist, some kind of sign-up through Facebook ? Or limit BB to people having smartphone ? In both case, that would not be a good idea. People do like their privacy and there is many people without a smartphone. Not that the App is wished because of fringe cheating.
I figured the reason BBs don't want the app (at least one of the reasons) was that it would lead to uncontrollable cheating. I am not saying facebook. For instance, Yahoo at some point did not let you create an account via mobile, you were obligated to go through PC, yet afterwards you can login and use your mail however you wish.
But perhaps wrong thread. On-topic
Pakistan may just be the first of many. I will give you an example that is close and known to me. Moldova currently has 11 users currently. Out of those, one has not logged in for a month so they will be looking at 10 soon. Me? I see my own community dropping 20 users each season and it pains me. If I was part of a hopeless community with 10 users, that would suck and I would leave. With 10 users you have no NTs, no one trains, no one candidates, except for some 4th/5th league foreigners.
Moldova and Romania are basically the same people let's say, we speak the same language, we understand each other. If I had the opportunity, I would gladly sign up for Moldavian basketball with a second team. And I am 100% sure, others are in the same situation(other countries), and would do the same. What would you say is the greatest obstacle for this? I really don't think they would mind, I don't think we would either. I don't think it would lead to imbalance, and if it would, BBs could build some constraints.
Common Sense of the BBs says this:
We will just make minor improvements to the game, not address the constant drop of users because BB is well above a self-sustainable user number, and hope we never reach that limit, while eventually user numbers will climb by themselves or at least remain constant. I am not against this at all. But what if they are wrong, what if we are closer to that limit than we all can realize ?
Correct me if I'm wrong, maybe I don't understand it properly.
