When one team fails to dress three or more players for a game and gives a walkover (forfeit), the match viewer displays a meaningless game against lucky fans that results in a very high rate of fouls by the "real players". That match displayed in the viewer is not an official match and no stats or results from it count for player stats, league rankings, etc.
If you're the team that is receiving a walkover, your players will get automatic/fixed minutes as follows:
- Assigned as the starter in the lineup: 36 minutes at that position
- Assigned as a backup in the lineup: 10 minutes at each position they're a backup for
- Assigned as a reserve in the lineup: 2 minutes at each position they're a reserve for
(All of the above add together. I don't know what the result would be if you had one player at backup & reserve for all 5 positions.)
If you leave any positions blank when filling out your lineup, and you receive a walkover for that game, then the minutes for blank positions ARE NOT ASSIGNED TO ANYONE AND ARE LOST.
