Has there been a big inflation of prices from last season or what? A level 6 trainer used to cost about 700,000 and now it costs well over a million.. What's up with that? Can anyone explain what's happening? Is it just because most people buy at this time of the year?

Thanks!

No, IMO it's been building up a lot this season. It's not at all difficult or costly to get a PR or a DR, but it's both to obtain a decent level trainer. Perhaps the BBs need to provide more of them?

With more people with a sudden influx of income the price of players went up (as the BBs have said a number of times), it would also be safe to assume that the price of staff would rise with the price of players. If the re-introduction of free agents does what it's supposed to do (removes money from the game) then I think we can expect the price of trainers to come down along with the price of players over the next few months. It might make sense for the BBs to introduce a few more reasonable salary trainers at the 4, 5 and 6 level to try to get more of that income out of the system, though.

Very well said indeed. The present staff system is totally frustrating for the casual BB manager who, unlike many of us, is not totally obsessed by this great game.

The re-introduction of players is just a stop gap between season 10 and 11. With the salary scale next season, they will probably no longer be necessary. People are already talking about $450,000-$500,000 salaried players.
