At the start of every season, there is always a glimmer of hope and wonder as to what may be coming next over the horizon.
Well, JR Knights who were JR Trojans once upon a time. Rebranded themselves again to Roaring Lions. A spoke's person for Roaring Lions told fans that "The team is strong and fighting fit. Since Season 22 the team has been on a purposeful losing streak. Aiming to win the relegation battle each year in order to get better draftee's or failing that buying new draftees in in order to train for the U21 England team. Players like Patrick Scott, Frankie Joshua, Gordon MacDade, Joachim Conaghan and Thomas Galloway who is now being trained for the National team.
To show everyone and most importantly the fan's that we are still serious about improving this team we are looking to achieve our best this season. Starting off with a 7-0 I hope will send out a strong message. We have also designed and created a new arena court which show's our pride and passion for Roaring Lions."
Fan's were pleased with the response given by the team's spokesman. Nevertheless, some fan's did ask about the two lions on each side of the court.
The spoke's person replied " we wanted to do something not seen every often within the basketball arena's. I can also confirm that the rumors about them potentially helping new draftees with both offensive and defensive positions during the game is correct. However, they are used as rough guidelines and not set in stone."
