I've never been one to build a massive war chest, but the couple seasons in the NBBA certainly helped. I was hoping to spend Season 49 doing the initial 1v1F training of a group of 18/19yo bigs in the NBBA where the incomes are higher and a Fan Boycott wouldn't have been as painful. However, I lost Game #3 of the Relegation series by 6 points after Stanton Jones got injured 7 minutes into the 1st Quarter. Role of the dice just didn't go my way.

Instead I was forced to do the most painful portion of a rebuild in Div. II which meant getting hit with a Fan Boycott while seeing the lower incomes of Div. II. That Boycott only got lifted a few weeks ago. All that has put me a little behind where I wanted to be in this reload. However, I certainly won't be able to keep this entire group together if I'm still in III.14 next season.

Jones, Lewis, Fortier and Melton were all draftees of mine and I spent a total of $66,400 for Sawyer and Addison as 19/18yo's. Those make up my top 6 players. Them being draftees and USA players does help with Merchandise income though. I'm proudest of Jones who I've managed to train into a 139 TSP, occasional NT player while using only a Superior level trainer the entire time.

I am sure it did help, but I know what you mean. I had a similar experience in season 48. I lost Game #3 of the Relegation series by one point on a last minute shot. It definitely doesn't always fall your way.

Sorry to hear that you are behind where you wanted to be, but it does seem like you are headed in the right direction. Yeah, I have had to sell off pieces the last two seasons in Div. III.

I have a pretty good home team lineup going as well. Working on my two towers for the future, and then in a few seasons back to guards. I just hope they fix the outside game before that comes. Yeah, the merchandise income has been a life saver. Tempted to upgrade my merchandise store. If only I had the money. Stanton is a beast, and you should absolutely be proud of him.

Congrats Motown.

Hard to compete with the $280K in salary you added at the end of the season.

Loss probably bankrupts my team unless I snag out of the extra promotion slots.

I myself was half planning on a promotion slot. Lol. Part of the reason I kept my foot on the gas the whole season. I didn't think I was going to beat you in a three game series. Looks like I have a whole different kind of beast now to wrestle with.

Thank you! Motown definitely made it interesting. Definitely had me sweating. Best of luck to everyone next season.
