Hey everyone, I'm back. And thank you for putting your confidence in me.

I have drafted up a roster of 15 players at the moment. However, it is not the final roster, as I am looking to trim it down to 12 at most.

Good news is, of these 15 players, 6 players are below 21 years old, with one of them just being 19. We can bank on some decent continuity here. Meanwhile, we've got a colossal giant in the form of Seet Woon Loong, who is our team captain of the season.

I have finished mailing all the managers who have players in the U21, and will proceed to scout the rest of the draft to complete our U21 database.

If you have a talented player in the draft, expect me to slide into your mailbox soon.

Why you didn’t select Yap Tse Leng?

Ahaha yea I wish I could but sadly he's already 22. Feels weird to have Seet Woon Loong in the team but not Yap Tse Leng after 2 seasons of them playing together.

Alright! So our U21 roster has been completed! Seet Woon Loong will be leading the team as captain, as this will be his third season in the U21. Joining him in their third season are backcourt duo Jonathan Jokteo and Waleed Khaleque.

We are also going to keep all 6 of our younger U21 players, including Poon Su Jing, who will be the understudy of Seet Woon Loong. Hopefully he will pick up as many pointers as he can and stay in the U21 for 3 seasons.

Therefore here is our final roster, consisting of 13 players:
BACKCOURT
Dhisna Chaddha
Jonathan Jokteo
Ma Kuan Min
Tang Yeow
Waleed Khaleque
Woo Feng An

FRONT COURT
Hong Jun Kwang
Kwok Yi Wee
Neo Ah Lee
Poon Su Jing
Seet Woon Loong
Seow Ho Cheng
Yap Chu Seng

We will face Macau U21 in our season opener. Hope everything goes well!

We kicked off our Asian U21 Championship campaign last night against Macau U21. It's been a great training week for our boys, as most of them had quite good game shape. Kudos all managers, and I hope we keep this up.

Seet Woon Loong has been a dazzling star for us so far, getting a double-double in every game, with 14 points and 14.7 rebounds in the last three games. He also showed his inner Jokic by averaging 6 assists in the first two scrimmages we had against Malaysia U21 and Indonesia U21 respectively. On the defensive side, he averages 2 blocks per game.

Another standout player we have in the team is Dhisna Chaddha, who seems to have solved the playmaking problem our U21 have been dogged with in recent seasons. The 20 year old playmaker has dished out an average of 6 assists per game, and limited his turnovers to only 1 per game. He also had a breakout game against Macau U21, finishing the game with 21 points and 7 assists. He hit 9 of his 14 field goal attempts, and scored 50% of his three pointers (3 of 6).

Our next game is against Vietnam U21. Let's hope everything go well, and keep up the good job coaches!

Our boys were handed our first lost today, in a crazy match that defied logic. New Zealand U21's manager went with a blind GDP and got lucky because I decided to switch out of our usual tactics in order to throw off Hong Kong U21. GDP wasn't really the main reason we lost though, we kept them at bay in the first half. But turnovers and misses started plaguing our team in the second half as they beat us by 14 in the third, and that sealed the game.

On the plus side, we had a great training week, with only 1 player having respectable game shape, while the rest had strong and proficient. Really glad that the players are all in good form. Kudos to all managers who managed their players minutes well.

With New Zealand U21 virtually sealing their qualification for the next round, we will be involved in a three way battle against Malaysia U21 and South Korea U21 for the final 2 qualification spots (seeing that Hong Kong U21 will probably qualify with a perfect record).

Our standout performer in the recent games was Kwok Yi Wee. He displayed an all-round game against Vietnam last week and getting a double-double (10 points 10 rebounds 4 assists) and was our top scorer tonight with 17 points. Meanwhile, Seet Woon Loong continued to be a defensive force as he kept up his 2 block per game performance.

Let's hope we put up a decent game against Hong Kong U21 next week. We definitely won't win, but staying close would give us the upper hand in terms of point difference.

I wouldn't say it was a blind GDP, nor was it lucky. I gave it a lot of thought and second-guessed myself a lot but eventually went for it as I saw that the benefits outweighed the risks.

Nonetheless, great game, especially late in the fourth quarter where your backup PG shot three in a row from downtown. You have a great squad and should progress to the next round without a doubt. Good luck for the rest of the season!

I knew you'd read this. It was definitely lucky, if not blind. I didn't want to get caught out by teams for catching me playing outside, hence I played inside with hopes that it would throw HK off. But then I guess I underestimated your team and shouldn't have put HK as our target instead.

That said, well played with the CT and congrats for making the next round. Thank you sharing your pregame thoughts. You're right that the benefits outweighed the risk for your team (especially with you clearing the harder teams of the pool, giving you chances to recover enthusiasm before the next group stage). This game has given me some good pointers I should take into account in future games.
