New Zealand (86) vs Iran (92) (53465)Unhappy with our 6 point loss to Iran, though the injury to Harvey Piper really costed us the game.
Game Analysis:The injury to Harvey Piper, as well as an incorrect focus GDP really hurts. The decision to go with an inside GDP was due to the fact that Harvey Piper was injured where they might have exposed us inside. The trend of our two games so far is that we were slow getting started. 4 out of 5 of our starters getting fouled out is also disappointing. On another day, with Harvey Piper, this game should've been a win for us.
Key Players:1. Jimmy Jackson: 31 points and 7 assists from the SG position.
2. Clint Ward: 22 points and 8 assists from the SF position.
3. Josh Cockayne: 16 points and 6 rebounds from the PG position.
Next Game:Against India where we should hopefully expect Harvey Piper to return to our side.
