Hey everyone. If you have any questions, except whom Smithers is ;) please fell free to ask.

Last NT election had a total of 4 votes, I missed that vote for the first time in a very long time... Vote Now! Before it is too late! Get to the Choppa!

General question regarding training.

What are your thoughts on the elastic effect and how it should impact training a potential NT player?

Well I've trained two players that have had successful careers for the NT. Herman Kearns, still on my team, and Stephen Hall, will never leave my team ;). As far as the elastic effect training I would say it was minimal. I focused generally on primary single position training 1st, or secondary single position training 2nd, for the most part when they were younger.

Now of course some 2 position training in the mix depending on schedule. I normally like to focus on using the elastic effect to 2 position train while a player gets older. Does this cost more in salary yes, do they become NT players earlier yes :)

But beanerz, tbh my training method in the last few years, and my title run in Naismith 3 seasons ago, and now rebuilding haven't really allowed me to know as much of elastic effort than others.

Thank you sir, for the vote!

In a patient offense during league or cup games I've seen it used effectively. I personally haven't used much at all because I was training PF/C type players. It is an offense that seems, in desperation tactic, you give it a shot to hopefully make up for a lack of good lineup. Hoping that the defenders centers outside defense is poor and you can win the game with jump shots or the player has a high enough driving and inside shot to be able to score that way. With of course high stamina.

As far as using the tacitc for the NT i really don't think it would work effectively as the defending centers will have at least a decent outside defense and will be able smother them in the inside. Let alone losing out of offense rebounds at other players playing out of position at least on offense.

It's still something to hold in the back pocket and spring out if it is desperation time.

I will give out one clue. He is a former NT coach. Wait a second didn't you coach the team for 2 terms? It could be you! Gasp!

In other news, Yin Beiguo is being sold 12hrs from now http://buzzerbeater.com/player/39211790/overview.aspx which should open a roster spot at the PF position. I assume he will be on the NT when his game shape gets better after the transfer.

Also Mika Girouard's http://buzzerbeater.com/player/36843923/overview.aspx owner has been trying to sell him the last few weeks with no takers yet. Again I assume he will be on the NT at somepoint if game shape works out. But he is a doubtful callup as he is currently trying to be sold.

Not great news for the NT.
