That was a very odd game...even the better defensive teams will find it difficult to keep my team from scoring 20 per qtr yet the Clogs held me to 12 and 10 points in the 2nd and 3rd qtrs of last nights game.
Yeah, I kind of wish I had remembered when I was screwing with my lineup that I didn't have Hitchcock in anywhere. He might have been able to score enough points in the last few minutes to turn that late swoon that lost the game into a late scoring push that almost would have made up for the extra points you'd probably have scored against him. ;)
It's definitely been more fun than I expected. I had a hard enough time scoring in II, and I wasn't sure how well I'd be able to hold up defensively here - but it's kind of what I wanted to see all along, so I'm definitely glad to have the chance. I think now that we've seen that this defense is legit and my offense is... well, not my defense... the right and proper thing to do is to make sure everyone throws their Cup games to me (and a relegation series, too) so we can see it in B3.
