A Lietuvan Manager shared this with me and I found it to be the most comprehensive and informative thread on training speed. It talks about trainer level, the effect of height in training and coefficients. Of course you still need to consult the Senior and U21 managers on what they need roster wise. Training speed by age is also tackled. Most of the vets here already know how to train efficiently. Thought this could help us raise the level of training a little higher. Some of the things that I learned is that you can substitute 1on1 (forwards) with JS (forwards) if you don't want to increase handling and driving and increase both JS and IS of the player.

I had a 7 footer who had 5 pops in reb in 6 training weeks. Compared to my other trainee a 6'8 guy who only had 3 pops. I was asking our u21 coach what if this guy was 7'6? There are even reports of double popping same skill in 1 training week. I think it is very possible if the skill is really low and trying to catch up to the related skills. The positive elasticity is working and add this to the effect of a youth trainer. Height seems to be a bigger deal than most trainers thought. This works also for the very short players (5'9) training OD and JR.

Thanks again for sharing, they should really pin this up in the forum section for everyone's benefit. Every week we get training questions in the help forum. Sad to say, a lot of people do not bother to read or search the forum for the answer. What i like about the thread its all there. Normally, I have to google the question and add buzzerbeater at the end because i don't have the supporter feature if I want to find something. Best of luck to you.

The Height coefficients really helped me a lot. It gave me a better understanding on how the training simulator works. Soon I think a manager will come up with the youth trainer bonus levels. My guess it is like a percentage multiplier complimenting the main trainer. Very nice initiative on your part to share. Thanks again.

To me the youth trainer gives a bonus between 0.0x and 0.2 based on his level more or less. No certain data since I tested only one season with my 19yo Filipinos cargado and de lira.
