How many TIE games would it take to build up peak enthusiasm (9ish?) before game time from default 5 in a 2-game per week situation? i.e. once you're out of the cup. 3? 4?

I think your guess of three to four is probably right. Don't have anything more concrete than my gut though.
Edit: I'm leaning towards the four side though.
