Hello everybody,
What is the real meaning of offensive tactics Princeton? I know that has a decreased pace but what about its real focus?
Thanks in advance
The way it seems to work in game, there will be a lot of three point shots, and a lot of drive attempts. You will almost certainly have a stretch where you score 2 or fewer points over six minutes, and you may have stretches where you put up close to 20 in six minutes. Frequently your SG will shoot far worse than his PP100 would predict, often ridiculously so, but on occasion he'll go on a ridiculous hot streak as well.
Your PF and C will need to be able to shoot the three and to pass well. If you have poor handlers or passers anywhere, you'll almost certainly have a lot of turnovers, and a lot of desperation shots because they can't find someone better.
If you have players with stamina of 7 or higher, there's a good chance they'll play well above 40 minutes, especially if you have the handling and passing and don't foul a lot, since there are stretches often of several minutes where there's nothing that causes a substitution opportunity (because rebounds out of bounds don't, for some reason, and you'll see a lot of those).
