Because it sure doesn't mean that...

Is that some kind of suggestion?

More a somewhat frustrated, long-term observation.

I guess... *YES*, I'd *love* it to actually occur - you know, that "strictly follow depth chart" actually has the GE, like... "strictly follow depth chart".

I'm very happy with it, but maybe I was just lucky so far. However I always run very short lineups and will try a 5 man roster this season.

Well... given the wording, it should be irrelevant how many people are in your line-up. It's a little odd that you need to have nobody on the bench, so there's no opportunity to deviate to assure that the GE "strictly follows depth chart".

It's a little weird that a player with Atrocious stamina can play a full 48 minutes of basketball... and not be a complete waste of space on the court on both offense and defense when he's worn out in the 4th quarter....

True... but I don't look for this to mirror real life. I would like it to do what it actually says it'll do tho'...

Yeah it's frustrating me too. I've been dressing small numbers of players, with one at starter/backup for the position I'm training, and because blowout some player ends up at that position, where I never flagged them to play it.

Thats the beauty of the game. There are always some surprises, things to learn and at the end of the day you should appreciate the high grade of difficulty.

If you want to get spoon-fed, you should play some 2k-games on your XBOX.

Erm... you misunderstand me. I don't necessarily disagree with the difficulty - but I do disagree with the English usage. At the moment, it just appears to be GE not working as intended, or poorly-phrased.

It's the substitution patterns which are not working as intended. All of them. "Strictly" is the one with fewer bugs.

Hopefully they will do something about this at some point.
