Hi guys out there,

just want your opinion. I now had an advanced trainer for a longer time. With him i was training two dudes (20 yrs, one superstar, one perennial allstar) on C position (mostly one position training): means inside shot, rebounding and inside defense. Now i recently changed over to a superior trainer (one level higher). With my advanced trainer i had around one lvl-up every two weeks - per 16 weeks a season this means around 8 lvl-ups a season. Now i had one lvl up for both of them last friday.

My first question up to you: how many lvl-ups can i expect? I have read the help and the gap between a higher leveled trainer is not as much as from the beginning... so in the end: is it worth using a superior trainer compared to an advanced? Yes or no.

Thanks,
Thomas

I was the same as you, I stuck with advanced trainers for a long time due to their salaries and the fact they train players at a good rate, however since changing to a superior trainer, I'll never buy an advanced again, despite there not being much of a difference. The amount of level ups totally depends on a number of factors:
a) age of trainee
b) potential of trainee
c) elastic effect on skills
d) what your training

For example, if you train an 18 year old MVP and train Driving for the whole season, you would expect more pops than if you trained an 18 year old allstar being trained in pressure the whole season.

Potential doesn't make a difference unless the player has reached their limit.

Depends on what's "worth it" for you. In short, generally Advanced trainer is best bang for your buck. If you want to train for a National Team, it could be worth it to get a better trainer.
