With the blank lineups removed, I thought there might be a big shakeup, in terms of team building strategies. So far, we mostly had 7-8 man teams, sometimes even 6 could do the trick, and their minutes get balanced by using bl/lcd. Will that work in the new GE?

I'm interested to hear people's opinions, on just how drastic will this change be?

Are we going to switch to 10 man teams, where every position will need a starter and a backup? If so, the key might be to find a perfect ratio, in terms of salary. Maybe 3:1?

Or, is there a way to make 3 players rotate in two positions, which would continue the current trend of 8 man teams, and wouldn't influence team building so much.

If option one, we might see those 50k salary efficient players' value skyrocket.

And what about B3? Maybe the best way will become to have 5 200k players, and pump their stamina?

I'm surprised no one seemed to talk about this last season, today I checked some B3 competitors league games, a lot seems to be caught up by the change, with many players playing 40+ minutes.

I've no idea cause I left the blank lineup only 2/3 times but I think nothing should change excluding that finally you've to play

I think you're right.
Those too lazy to set a lineup will adapt.
Those who thought leaving a lineup blank was the best way to win will adapt.
Those who just whined about it for whining sake will find something else to whine about.
Those who said blank lineups made people leave the game will say that eliminating blank lineups will make people leave. To them, the sky is still falling.

Sometimes, the more things change the more things stay the same.

You're accusing people of whining about Buzzerbeater?

I'm assuming you know the definition of irony?

You hijacked my thread :)

Back on topic, I was asking about team building opinions. Basically, let's say you have 700k budget to build a team.

Strategy so far: buy 7 100k players and play bl/lcd.

So, what now? 5 starters with 100k, 5 bench guys with 40k salary? Or something else?

perhaps this should be the BB theme for the season https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvTi7aCnlhA

On opening night I dressed the who squad but only had 7 in the rotation and scuttled the lineups so that my pg sg and sf all played straight thru but my big men were properly rotated, went LCD, to my surprise somewhat the coach emptied the bench with about 4min to play in a rout and literally everyone got into the game, even the ultra scrubs were inserted in the dying seconds.

tonight going to dress a full squad, placing starting and backup for every position except for SG as I am a little undecided on who i want carrying the mail, very interested to see how this plays out.
