Does anyone know exactly how experience affects a player in a game? What is the difference between two players that have identical stats, but one player has prolific experience while the other has awful? And is it all that important?

The player with prolific experience will usually perform better in clutch situations than the player with awful experience, whether it be keeping the ball safe, making that important shot, playing great defense, etc. I don't think it's all that important because the main skills of players are what mainly affect the course of a game.

so experience has to do with clutch moments such has last second shots, not so much on the the entirety of the game?

I think it is a little important to have experience. I can't tell you how many times in the past 2 seasons that I've been saved in the 4th quarter by comebacks that had to do with experience. For me, the biggest example is my semifinal game last season. Clutch three after clutch three in the last couple of minutes saved my season. (68928713)

I've noticed that my guys with most experience tend to make bigger plays at the end of playoff games in particular, but also I had the fun experience of seeing my PG with Proficient FT, but Pitiful Experience, go 0-4 from the FT line in a League Finals game that inevitably went to OT where I lost.

It seems like the Experience factor is cranked up a couple notches in the Playoffs, especially the Finals.
