If I played an inside heavy defensive scheme like a 2-3 zone and then played set the gameday prep to their going to try and score from outside. Would that work to counter a good inside team that runs motion? If not, what would doing so do to help or challenge your team?

If you kind of get the gist of what I am saying

I would just set defensive switches. Put the guards with the highest OD at the spot the opponent best offensive guard is, while setting the best inside defender against their best big.

They probably wouldn't score as much inside and they'd blow you out with outside shots and jumpers. If you know they're running motion you can try a 3-2, or you can try the defensive switches. 2-3 against an outside defense is just an entertaining way to throw the game.
