Hello there fine gentlemen! (and ladies? yeah right..)

Welcome to BB Season 17! Last season was one for the ages, with Coach Coach's Fundamentally Sound team taking the title and promoting to Div II. We still have some remaining strong competitors from last season, and will continue to see some teams grow and get stronger among our ranks. Welcome to all the new teams! Compared to some of the other divisions we seem to be one of the most active, and strongest, of the Div III's... so be prepared!

To all returning competitors. Good luck! Pangaa, looking forward to continuing our rivalry! ITI, Sony and Haaaaaa, I look forward to you continuing to kick my ass whenever we play, and hope to play better this season

For sure bud its gonna last a while since cavsown23 already has the best team on our side me and u mite be fighting for the 4th spot this yr.... HOF seems really strong and swamplands is good again and that leaves us for 4th-5th.... hopefully wildkats doesnt buy some crazy players with the money hes got, n dmytros also just one guard away from having a really good and balanced team........... and the other side its rugrats(new fundamently sound :P), iqaluit, snowboarder, koolers.... whatd u think?

Yeah, we have added a few strong teams. I can't judge any team right now until some games are played. At the start of last season, you would have thought I would have finished near the bottom of the league, instead I was tied for first in the conference. You can judge based on their roster salary and dmi, but don't assume that it means the better team. Any team is beatable with the right tactics and roster management (GS, Enth, proper lineups.)

I've actually been considering tanking this season. I really overachieved last year and based off my roster and salary I should have been much worse. I'm starting to really realize that my roster is pretty terrible as far as top end talent. I'm just going to Save money and scouting points up this year to try and hit the jackpot a few seasons down the road and hope I dont get relegated.

Yeah for sure game shape and tactics play a big part and that was basically the reason we finished 1st n 2nd, my roster was like the 5th best and urs 7th i think not sure but we both ovccerachieved cause of tactics and ENT management.... ya you can definitely get a solid player like winnipeg did this yr from the draft.... im kinda stuck in the middle on which direction i should head into so gonna stick with what i got this season and then go from there..... but i think if i do promote like next yr or somehow this yr it will be a big fluke so mite be better to wait it out, but lets see what happens and i got expand my arena aswell if i wanna go up, barely got any bleachers :P

Good luck guys - I might be back down to Div III to join you faster than I would like! Hopefully if I do drop, it's not to III.9 cause it looks even tougher now.

Oops. I mean Hall.

This game has a steep difficulty curve. Looking over the last few seasons of III.9 looks like alot of the same guys been around for a long time. I don't think I could ever tank a relegation match, and even with thoughts of tanking this season, I still want to make the playoffs and win to fill my arena. But you almost have to relegate and come back and hope for a weaker Div. But even to make Naismith in this game, is a lofty goal. Seems like it could take years, some divisions are stacked.

I think you have a good enough team to be competitive in your division, like hall worley and kukk by the end of the season will make an unstoppable frontcourt, n all your missing IMO is a PG, and like the teams on your side of your league are similar to yours, but they could have a lot more money, but i seriously think that you wont be dropping back anytime soon..... good luck

I saw dmytro in the game chat and told him to check out the forums. But yeah, with out Coach it might be slow. You should BB-Mail some of the other teams, get them to post
