Hey Guys! Just got promoted from IV.14 with a 19-3 record and a pretty strong 477 PD. I was surprised. I lost out in the semi's too.

Anyways, I look forward to playing in Div III. I like the fact that theres no real bot teams and it'll be super competitive. I welcome the challenge, but I think I'm gonna need some time to build. Last season I got by on gameshape and enthusiasm management, and tried to train my young cheap teams overall skills, and I thought I had another season to continue training in IV. I'm gonna need a new strategy to compete with the strong teams in this division.

Anyways, good luck everyone! I'm super pumped for this season.

Welcome! It's nice to see someone else posting. Take advantage of the promotion and keep building your team. There have been some solid teams in III.9 the last couple seasons - it's been very frustrating trying to claw my way up. This season should be no different.

Cheers!

Yeah, another plus with being in Div III is hopefully the forum is more active. It adds alot of fun being able to discuss the game and trash talk with each other. Get to know our competitors.

It does seem like a difficult division to advance in. From what little scouting I have done, I know I'm a pretty far away from competing here. I feel lucky that I did advance last year. But I'm totally not prepared, thinking I was going to stay in Div IV atleast another season. We'll see what happens.

When I'm not working, I'm gonna jump in chat during game time if anyone wants to join.

this seasons gonna be much more interesting i played in div IV like you aswell and only had one active manager for half of the season, so there was like no competition and wasnt as fun and like you said our divisions way easier compared to big 8 ;)...... btw who do you guys think are the contenders, i got 3 teams taht i think will take it, fundamently sound, montreal koolers and sony rox ur sox even thou i was shocked to see him lose to les peureux who only beat me by 7 in the cup last yr, i thought his team was just too stacked to lose :P

Test Icicles are dangerous as well, and Haaa! has two stud big men - if he has money kicking around he could become much more dangerous. Plus, someone may come out of the other conference. Going to be a tough season.

Huge win for me over hall of famers. I thought I was done for. I think my tactics helped. The last 2 minutes of that game are crazy. So far my team is over achieving and playing beyond its salary. Although I'm pretty scared when the cross-conference games start. Blue is stacked.

yeah i was kinda shocked about the game and i actually think his teams one of the best in our division hes really good on the inside and he put more effort into n stuff but like u said im guessing it was the tactics aswell but no matter what it was quite impressive...... lol me too ill be happy if win 3 or 4 of those games :P....... yeah he clearly cant afford him hes tried selling him earlier aswell its gonna be hard to get rid of him and prolly will lose a ton of money from what i see

It was nice to see two teams pick up ridiculously expensive players - it probably bumped up our entire league's television contract. Not that they can afford them though!

I'm depressed by my early loss to a very good Montreal Koolers team. Our conference is tough.... Now Worley is injured for two weeks, so the evolution of a beast in the post is delayed slightly.

Yup that definitely helped....... and im in the same situation kinda had to play my reserves today so i have a shot at winning my cup game without messing up everyones game shape........ hopefully he gets back fast 2 weeks is gonna slow his training down hes easily gonna be one of the best players and a lock on the national teams
