I'm not very optimist about this one, but who knows ? Here I go =P !

Haven't you guys -- or girls -- ever dreamt of a world wide Buzzerbeater magazine dealing with the main news in our beloved game ? I'm not talking about the different "press groups" publishing their articles either on their national forums -- like for example, O BBdependente in Portugal -- than on dedicated website -- like Buzzer News ((http://www.buzzerbeaternews.com/)) --. ~ Because they are doing so fine in what they do, it will not be very interesting creating something that currently exists and that is satisfying the readers. However, I'll moderate my statement because I would like to build up something that exists in one nation : Les Échos de BuzzerBeater, France. Indeed, according to most people, the job made by the French journalist is exceptional. & it is ! So what about creating a PDF magazine in English addressed to all the nation throughout the Buzzerbeater world ?

To all creative people, graphic designer, the ones that like writing things down, to all the passionate ones & so on & so on, lets join each other -- just for fun & "the love" of this game -- to contribute to the pleasant atmosphere here on BB.

We can draw the guidelines, the flatplan and other things here if you wish so ...

If you're interested express yourself on this thread or send me a BB-mail (59308). I don't bite, don't be afraid ! But if you need more details or some "guarantees" (I don't know what kind of guarantees I can offer but I'll invent =D) go ahead !

Like I thought, not that much people wants to contribute to something like this =) ~ HaHaHa ! It's not a big deal ;)

Even though you're not interested by contributing to this project, as readers, what do you think about an English PDF magazine for the English speaking communities of "BB" ?

unless the game is more interactive you cannot create such a thing. I mean, what kind of content will u be adding? (X vs Y in today's big game or who scored how much!!) you know it doesnt make a lot of sense.
Maybe creating special tournaments with rewards and bonuses...
However if managers had more stuff to manipulate and more control over their team and how they play and more options etc. (we can refer to the suggestion forums), my guess is there will be more to talk about. Forums are more than enough at this current stage.

Thanks for answering something. That's still nice, even though you are not a big fan of my project =P.

The content of the magazine will not be that simple. Like all magazine I would like to publish "special reports", interviews, entertaining things, rumors, tips for newbies, & why not specials infos given from the BBs (Ok, I dream too much =D). I think it'll be nice to learn what happens in other countries. How do they manage to play the game, and what kind of institution they build to increase their interest in the game.

You would agree with me when I say that a player that has become familiar with the game : build it's team, it's training program, conclude the transfers he'd like Etc. Kind of don't have anything to do except waiting for its matches ... That's the reason why I wanted to publish a magazine, offering some reading to the managers that doesn't know what to do, and developing in my way, the interaction between players.

But I respect your way of seeing things, and thank you once again for responding to my question ;).

I agree with you.

There'll always be something interesting to write about, its just a matter of thinking up something creative and putting a fun spin on it :)

You could start a regional magazine first and if it's successful, then go global.

Thanks for you interest. I'll "drop" you a PM as soon as possible. But if you have some suggestions, some points of views you wanna drop here you're free (we're always free anyways ^^). It may be a method to attract more people, who knows ?

I had thought about this idea. But I consider it playing gambling. Indeed, who can tell what region will appreciate the idea of magazine more than an another ? Maybe if I focus on the European continent, I'll meet more success than in Asia ... or not ! That's the reason why I wanna go global. The best thing that can happen is to have a consultant/expert in each countries. Or at first, in the main countries. But once enough people express their desire to contribute to the project, we'll think about it =P.
