Moved from global forum

It is about Private leagues, except for experimental issues and prestige, they don't bring much exitement...

My suggestion is following:

- Let the creator of league possibility to create financial rules of competing, including a tax (fee for entering league) and prices for winners, second and third... for example... (ofc it can be left for those who wants, to create 'non-financial' PLs too)

- This will make PL much more interesting (at least some adrenaline will happen)

- This will not ruin current economy system, because a same amount of money stays on the table

- You can Limit this amount to avoid cheeting and easy money transfering.... (who can be so creasy to cheat whole PL several weeks for only few hundred thousand?)

That's precisely what is done right now. This amount is limited to zero, and cheating is impossible.

Private leagues are, and always will be played in arcade mode. There will be no change implemented that will allow supporters to benefit directly from participating in a private league.

You can also loose money by participating in PL , following my advice... this wasn't a point...
You can put maximum fee on 10k. Even than pl could be more interesting. (this is not a benefit... isn't it?)
The point was in - 'give us a motivation for PL' - or if you want from advertising side - give a better motivation to your users (clients) to become supporters...

From the other side I wonder, how can you be so convinced from the firs sight that idea is bad... If you cut every brainstorming in roots, than you will never come upon a profitable idea...

This absolutely will not happen - it's ripe for cheating and provides a benefit to Supporters (possible increased funds).

This is irrelevant. Some teams will make money, and this is not acceptable.

Because I happen to know that Private League are designed to give Supporters extra game a week against your friends or other good competition, without worrying about minutes or game shape.

Private Leagues are not designed to provide any sort of benefit -- that's why they provide no training minutes and no gate receipts, and that's why any suggestion that involves monetary benefit from Private Leagues is a no-go from the start.

when it is no benefit, is it also no extra motivation ;) because it is the same like today, and you are going to win this thing for honor and fun(i like winning more then loosing).

edit: No profanity, please :)

How is it not acceptable... Thats just like winning a tournament game but its just a private league... If BB wants to become a Basketball Internet sensation than its has to make alot of changes... Not saying that im disappointed with it...

Without getting into the veracity of that claim, I'd like to point out that change for the sake of change isn't going to make thousands of people all of a sudden flock to BuzzerBeater.
