I expect we'll see a few more EBBL teams knocked out this season. The league is sooooo tough on the blue side this season, the matches have been brutal with literally a point or two separating teams. Most of the EBBL teams are prioritising staying up over the tournament.

Grats to all who made it through this week and looking forward to more tense matchups in the coming weeks!

Well one is going out for sure, since the Tigers are playing the Sabres :)

How far could a team get just playing bots??

Only one real team for me so far.. fancy myself a lucky bot run to the semi-final next season!

There'll be three bots in the next round. After that, probably no more. Its certainly possible to get to the semi final without playing an EBBL team. But its likely you'll have a draw against a decent D2 team at some point.

5 EBBL teams depart from the competition this week!
4 of them by a div II or lower, few shocks in the cup this week, best of luck to everyone for next round draw.

Indeed. Congratulations to the 4 non-EBBL teams who brought them to their knees:
- KK Alytus (continuing his collection of EBBL scalps from the past couple of tournaments, III.2)
- Carolina BC (also III.2)
- BC Wild Hawks (II.1)
- United Surrey (III.1)

The big match for this round saw the Sabres of Valiente (EBBL) prevailing over the White Tigers (EBBL) 98-86

Teams remaining:
EBBL 8/16 (-5)
DII.1 7/16 (-2)
DII.2 7/16 (-2)
DII.3 5/16 (-3)
DII.4 6/16 (-6)

DIII.1 DIII.2 and DIII.6 have 4/16 apiece. The rest of the DIII leagues have 3 or less teams remaining.

Good luck to everyone in the next round.

Of them all it seems Arrows threw his, Walton is bot, Lemurs had an understrength team out there, but...!! What a win for Carolina making the most of hca and beating Giants using the same effort! Cool as a cucumber! He's one to watch!
