That is some crazy money.
I've run waaaaay too tight a budget to have that much floating around.
Perhaps it's time to change that.

He's 6'8" HOF and had 58 TSP so he was pretty high up there as far as starting prospects go. I think his only skill below Mediocre was a 2 in JR

Yeah I knew Cross Chargers had his eye on Winn, and he had just sold off his team so he's got money to burn.

But man that was a lot of money he just burned.

Looks like I need to read the other forums more often! Yeah, it was a lot to spend on Winn but he has a chance to be a special player if I don't screw it up. It's not too often you find a player like that and I somewhat feel I got a deal after I saw what Long Leach went for.

I do think this market is here to stay for a while. Lots of teams have horded money and I believe the tax on balances over $25M will keep the crazy purchases coming.

That's kind of what I'm worried about too. A few seasons ago I'd have been able to buy a whole team with the money I have, but now I'm just hoping to get one quality player out of it haha

I may sound like a sore looser... But I continue to loose games where my team has better ratings. Mostly when I don't have HCA which makes me think. Starting to get frustrated.

To me it looks like his coach decided that the Sungrazers were up by enouh in the fourth quarter that he could bench the starters and let the backups play. That's why you won the 4th quarter, and it probably led to his ratings dropping overall. I've seen my team do the same, I'll be winning, and then the starters are pulled and my low paid backups eat the minutes to end the game which leads to a big drop in my team ratings even though we still end up winning.

Not in this case. There was never garbage time in this game. He actually had a bit of a comeback in the 4th. I was pretty concerned as I saw it take place, actually.

I also was curious about how it looks like I probably should have lost from a ratings standpoint, yet still won.
I've seen it happen before here and there as well, and my super fancy theory is that ratings don't tell the whole story.
I agree that home court probably has something to do with it as well.

Man, Stuart Vereker is one tough cookie to contain. He drilled me with 41 points! My only way to go around that was to just score even more haha. Impressive that he's homegrown too, you should BB-Mail Isaiah about his chances at the NT.
