You can save them for the end of next season.
But obviously, the lower you finish on the table, the more likely you are to get your number 1/2/3 preference Draftees.

cheers!

Just to catch up on the season! Who do we all think are going to win this season?? Anyone apart from me just gunna go for a good draft pick??

What about the upcoming inter conference?? Just looking seems to me that the red teams are a little stronger! But only time will tell? Is this a good way to tell the difference between red n blue?? Or is it going to be more about depth!! Anyone been here for a couple seasons?? I'm just wondering how hard it actually is to promote??

Anyone left in the country tournament??

Anyone else got a really crappy team?? Cause mine sucks!! HahA

Well right now Statesmen are sitting pretty, undefeated and not looking likely to drop more than maybe 1 game for the rest of the season.

I'm hoping to promote this season, which just means I need to beat the aforementioned Statesmen to make the Grand Final playoffs. I'm quietly confident that I can achieve this.
My 2 big trainees are already prepared for Div 3, and I'm expecting Julien to make the French U21 by seasons end.
I can't really see any other teams/managers training as seriously as I am?
happy to be corrected.

I started my season very slowly with the intention to just train and float around and lose. however my 2 trainees were dominating and I kept winning games, so now I may aswell try to win it.
I've bought a new PG, though I don't remember ever bidding $460k for him, lol.
I'll see how the rest of the season pans out, but I have room to buy another guard/SF to ensure I get the promotion.

All-star game isn't a true reflection of red/blue coz if you look at past seasons games, it's just OFFENCE OFFENCE OFFENCE.
just like NBA all stars, noone defends properly.

You try to stay in 7th if you can and get the best draft pick possible... AND try to win the relegation battle.

Ok well obviously you're free to play how you want :)
I hope you can keep interest.
I just know this game is more about LONG TERM strategy instead of instant gratification :)

Yeh long term is a good thing. But most the comp is bots so moving a couple of spots up will not hurt his draft chance.
If you can get to 5th is means you don't play any relegation playoffs which means you don't pay for your players for a couple of weeks. Which can help cash wise.

But make sure you have a look at the levels of Div 3 teams and have enough cash and good players to stay up if you can once you do. If you are not ready (which I was not 1st time) you will struggle to keep up.

I was actually about to suggest trying to finish 5th.

I think you (everyone) needs to work out what their team is capable of.
Can you win it all and promote? if yes then go for it.
If not, then try to make as much money as possible, train up some young kids and build your team for the future.
