Big day in the league. Top 4 teams in current standings all play each other.

Heh, your match will be more exciting. It seems that Doctors is on another extended break. I was probably going to win anyway with HCA, but under the circumstances I should be a little foolish to give him a W.

Well it looks like he's about to injure one of my better players, so there is a chance I'll lose without foolishness.

Ugh. Are they long term? Backup SF got hurt tonight. Going to wreck minutes for my starting SF. At least I got a bot in the cup.

My starter SF, who also got injured in game 3 of the finals, is now long term. I think this is it for him---at 38yo, I may fire him. He was an all time market steal (I paid 14k for him at 119 TSP, and even now he is at 113TSP). But I'll find another old guy.

The other injury is not lasting, but might well be the difference in this game.

Day 3 had an exciting finish in store. Hoosiers entered the last minute 5 points down, but a well timed 3, a dunk, and a last second pair of free throw gets them the win.

X dominate X and Black Sheep (Janopol) put up interesting ratings, as Dominate notches the away win.

The marquee match did not disappoint: Johns Creek snatched a big away win at Ashkickers, propelled by a smothering 1-3-1 defense, 24-27 from the charity stripe, and good shooting from the Sargent/Baez duo. It was single digits, but also never that close down the stretch.

In the big 8, my team went into the match with the comfort of knowing that the opposing roster is strong but not actively managed. The two injuries made it closer than I would have liked, but we pulled it out, thanks to a whopping 64 rebounds.

Motor City Machines' Bonilla got to be the star in a Patient offense and made the most of it, in their team's win over Globo. We're gonna see more of Duane Jansen storming into the GM's office to ask for reinforcements.

Scrap Heap hangs 133 points in a cool 60 pts win over Team NYC. They look like a playoff team.

Two O's and Miami go push at each other with similar ratings, but Two O's comes out of it with better shots and a 17 pts win.

I don't get to watch the Tuesday games because I'm at work. But I do try to tune into the Sat rday games. One thing that has changed is the live viewer uses a lot of CPU space and it often locks down my browser. So I end up dipping in and out.

Tonight looked for all the world like a loss. I was always behind. Although Ash guessed wrong on the offense, they guessed right on the pace and put more into the game. I headed off the the grocery store thinking I'd come back to a 1-2 team with some PO'd fans. The thing that gripes me is I lost 3 games in the league all last year and the fans went from filling the bleachers to 60-85% after I lost the first game. I didn't want to see what the next home game would be like at 1-2.

A really big 4th quarter from Sargent did it. Wish he was a little more consistent, but I'll take it.

It's going to be hard to hold this team together . Arena revenue has dropped 75K and Merch dropped 20K while salaries increased by 60K. We better have a big run in BBM or the Cup or it won't be viable.

Not going to get a lot of sympathy on that, but it's crazy how hard this group is.

It was a great win. The attendance and merch will bounce back as the fan survey fills up and you have checked the boxes. Your payroll is pretty high but there will be more revenue on the way.

It is with heavy hearts but greedy spirits that we decided to fire Serdult after his latest injury

Indeed, Duane Jansen called me at midnight last night in a pretty heated mood. Unfortunately for him, I was about 12 Moscow Mules into the night and spent all of our teams money on a post game party at the club house so he will have to wait on more help for now. If he could just score on every shot I bet we wouldn't lose so many games!
