So in tonight's game, after my bench decided to choke and my starters had to come in. My player grabbed the defensive rebound, must've passed it, and then the other team committed an intentional foul. My player got hurt off of an intentional foul... How does that happen? Intentional fouls are fouls created that won't injure someone, usually just one player hugging another one basically. I'm not complaining about the injury, but I don't really get why fouls can come off of intentional ones. Here's the PBP

Unfortunately, this is something we all have suffered in the past.
Not very common, but not impossible in real life either

Hugging foul occurs:
Oblique cramp, oblique tear, crushed lung, pulled back, slipped disk, pinched nerve in spine.... low chances for all of those but they're possible.

But I agree with you. Your player should not have been injured.

I agree that you're super unlucky, and it sucks, but it's surely not impossible.

Imagine perhaps that the opponent is corralling him, looking to give the intentional foul, and instead of sitting there and taking the foul, your player tries to run the clock some more by dribbling away and avoiding the fouler. As your player dodges to the left, the fouler reacts clumsily and tries to follow him, sticking out his leg as he moves, and catches the leg of your player - who is tripped and tumbles to the floor.

I think if you use your imagination there's usually some kind of realistic explanation for most of the wacky things the BB game engine throws up, even if they are a little far-fetched or unlikely.

All of this points are valid guys, thanks for the help! Luckily it's only a 1 week injury with the ASB in sights
