I can't seem to find anything that defines ELASTIC effects on trainees in the guide. Can someone please explain the Elastic effect? I'm training a few bigs now but want to also still train a Sf and pg on inside skills. Thanks in advance.

Certain related skills(for example IS/ID) are "connected", so if one is higher than the other, the lower one gets a small bonus in training, the higher one gets the same penalty. It encourages balanced builds.

Data from the Training Project

IS speeds up ID
ID speeds up RB

So if you are looking for the fastest inside training you would do IS->ID/SB->RB

what about outside skills?
JR speeds up JS?
driving and handling speeds up OD and especially passing?

How bout training multiple players for inside training using 3 position training c/pf/Sf with a superior trainer? I haven't done much of 3 position training in my short time of training just 1 POS and 2 position

The data actaually shows that JR slows down OD. I am a little skeptical about that conclusion since when the data was taken not alot of people actually trained JR. HA speeds up a couple different skills. If you believe the data, order would be something like JR->1v1->OD/PA->JS.

Not too many people would recommend 3 position training since you will have a hard time getting players to reach their potential.

If you are interested in training you should register at the USA offsite. Alot of great resources:

Thanks. I joined the offsite. Looks like I'm better off doing 1 position and 2 position training if needed. Just have a few outside guys I want to have some inside skills.
