Welcome to the league! Our division (Big 8) looks top-heavy again with Steel Guardians returning and Lengends the new club. Martins is no pushover and Louisville is only getting better. My club went the route of all drafted talent 4-5 seasons ago and am now just starting to turn the corner. I'll be looking for a couple top veterans to add and begin my run at the top.

The Great 8 is a bloodbath. Just have a look at last season's standings. There are five returning clubs that have a legit chance to win it all.

Spend every dime you can on getting that big arena you'll need for sustained success. Max your scouting and train the stars you draft. If you need to sell off good players, no shame in that. I did that myself since I knew it was going to be a long-term build for my club. Now my arena makes me good money and I feel I have a lot of young talent to work with.

Yeah even BB realized just a season or two ago that they were really making it too tough starting out, or starting over in your case. They made the starting arenas a bit larger and gave new clubs one franchise player. I guess that's the one you spoke of earlier?

Haven't looked up in the main forum if the consensus was positive or not. Might be worth a look.

I haven't heard of a downloadable salary calculator. That must've been something from the past ;) I just use the one at buzzer-manager...

There's been a huge turnover in say, the past two or so years. I know a lot of the old-timers are long gone and likely took their knowledge with them. There's a whole new player hierarchy in place now.

Now you have me interested. I'm going to have to do a deep, deep forum search :) I'm not a supporter, so I can't do a specific topic search. Everything I've learned is just from hours of pouring through thread topics, which isn't the easiest thing on BB!
