Yes that would be a smart move and it's something they don't need to get right in 1 go. They can tweak things over time until they reach a solution which they think it's a good compromise.

It was 50k not 60k-70k as I said and around 14k-15k is due to an expansion in the boxes. in any case I had lost the game before the second home game and then I lost a rival game, but won a TV right before the third game. The actual seats sold were like this:

As you can see the problem is quite clear: I sold fewer bleachers and lower tier in the first game than in the second and third game (and those categories of seats are not influenced by the extra 20 boxes). In the end I think the first game and maybe the first few games are an outlier because the ranking are not defined, there is no previous game to boost the fan survey and there are no tv or rival performance. Unless you have the promotion boost, that is. In short for me it's been:
1st game ->14,751 attendance
L, 2nd game -> 16,309 attendance(+1,560)
L(r), W(tv), 3rd game-> 17,355 attendance (+1,040)
The difference between the first and second game was really baffling
