Not Happy

My player Terry McInerny (31002385) was scheduled to finish his auction at around 11 minutes past 10pm South east Australian time.

I had made my mind up that I was going to buy him back if he didnt reach 3 mill as this was a realistic expectation

(essentially I was going to hold onto him and train him and sell off an older player )

I recently sold a player who I consider was of lesser value for over 4 mill

From about 9.30 to 10.17pm I couldnt get onto Buzzerbeater as it kept up coming up with the message that the Server was busy.

As soon as I got on it showed on the news that he had already sold for 2.142 Million

10 Managers had him bookmarked and no bids were made for him in the final hour of his auction.

Aint auctions suppossed to be extended when the system has problems?

Not good enough if buyers from Australia cant get onto an auction site in the final hour of a players auction.

I have been notified by another Manager who was keen to buy him that he couldnt log on because of this server problem and that indeed this system problem has cost me lots of money

Please reauction him or recommence the auction

Yep, I wanted to spend my many millions on this player. Would appreciate if he could be relisted as I was unable to log on.

Add me to that list.

Very unfair...

How does it happen that the server can supposedly be too busy to allow bidders on, when the number of actual users has significantly dropped by as many as it has?

Absolute crap.

I spent forever trying to log on to the system on both my mobile phone and the laptop.

"Too busy" -Absolute rubbish here we are not much over an hour later and there are only 787 users on line.

System was obviously down. Auctions are supposed to be extended in these circumstances.

Please intervene Mr Marin

Backing up what Sid said, I have bbmail evidence (23/8/15) that states he was intending to buy back if the price did not meet his minimum requirements, which was well above the price he was sold off for.

I have this evidence, too.

I too must question the logic of setting a 1k initial minimum bid on a player that you wanted to sell for 3 million dollars. If people were willing to spend 3 million dollars for your player, it wouldn't matter what the initial price was...

That really sucks what happened with the server busy and all. Lost at least a million for sure.

Not sure what the GM's would do in this situation. They usually extend the auctions for this kind of mishap.

If they put the player back on the transfer list, the person who bought him would be kicking and screaming.

All current transfers should be frozen and extended for amount of time lost no matter when the actual deadline is.
