I was wondering, which tactics generally perform better with a strong offensive flow? So to put it in other words; what tactics benefit the most from good passes and score more often from assists?

Its a good question. Kinda of two part.

Which offenses benefit the most from good offensive flow.
Which offenses give the most assist.

Not neccassarily tightly coupled statements.
More assists I found come from look inside vs say patient.
Fast paced offense tend to have more assists as a general statement.

To rephrase something that Trainerman has pointed out on a number of occasions, it's easier to hit open dunks and layups in BB than it is to hit open jumpers and threes. So LI is likely the way to get the best number of assists in the vast majority of cases.

Hmm, perhaps it is indeed not as tightly coupled as I thought. Would you say with LI it is more important to have a good offensive flow compared to (for example) Run and Gun?

This is all just wild guessing but I'd think the flow is probably a little more important for R&G since it seems to be harder to get an open outside shot than an open inside one. But I think more than flow, you want to emphasize having every player on your team having good passing and handling, and driving if possible as well. A lot of what I did with my team was based on my surprising success with LI when I first moved up to 4, and it wasn't because I had good inside scorers since I never did. I just found that guys with good handling and passing at the big spots gave a lot of assists to the other inside guys, and that guys with good OD at the big spot seemed to give up a lot fewer open shots.

Hmm, alright! It seems I'll need to analyze some of my games with different tactics and such. Thanks a lot for your input!
