Hello everyone, I have a very important match coming this Tuesday that I need to win to have HCA in the playoffs. I need help about the system I'll choose. My players' skills are about:

PG: N.Krstanovic : 17 passing, 11od and handling, the rest 8 or lower.(the classical bulid of pg)
SG: W.Munarriz: 16 js hn dr, 14 od, 8 jr, bad passing (6)
SF: C.Saya: Not really a great player. 11 js, hn 12od, 10dr, 8 jr, 7 passing
Bigs: P.Peinado Good secondaries (except jr 3 all others are 7 or 8) 12 is 14 id 15 reb Bad blocking (7)
M.Blanco Good secondaries (everything 6 7 or 8) is 8 id 17 reb 12 blk 11

What system would you recommend? Do you think playing Patient with Saya SG, Blanco SF, Munarriz PF and Peinado C is a good idea? The team I'm gonna face is (27741)

Just a quick tip. Princeton isn't the way to go. Patient isn't the way to go. Play it fast or doing some isolation. 3-2 zone. Have fun!

It would best not post your players skills. so all can see because everyone is a opponent

I think you could play pait.. but it would be wiser to "push the ball" and man to man. defense. But...

If you do choice to play pait play 3-2 zone. and play 2 Sg in the line up. Play that sf from the bench and have him as insurance policy. Your foe wont be able create a mismatch from his bench up no matter what he does. Don't worry about the rebounds. I see you have that covered.

btw good luck.

I managed to lose that game by 13. Well he put normal and predicted me in slow pace... but still I don't really believe he has a much better team than mine. If I had played LI or 3-2 zone maybe I would have won, but the question remains: How did I manage to lose???

[match=XXX] Is this your last game/match. I haven't looked yet but I am.

I went to look.

My opinion you shot yourself in the foot by not using the bench. Pait is not just 1 man banding. pait can work in 2-3 differ ways. One is balance team shooting ( a mis match everywhere or best given shot for best position player). the other a mis match by the strongest best player. the 3rd way im not 100% sure to say because I could be wrong.. I'm still learning it myself.

Its best to go for the 1st way the whole team creating baskets, this very easy to do by using bench and a putting good scorer there. The 2nd way need will scoring player , You know player who get points by grinding doing the dirty work for example a good passer and driver. This will open you best player to do mass damage when the double team comes.. I see pf was doing damage but the rest lacked the skill. Pait is no good if you don't have bench to keep up beating of the foe.

No harm or foul, Your guard play was awful they can do much better from what I have seen them do in other games.. So That and the bench not being lined is what lost that game. Nothing more or less.

I don't agree with him on the matter.. I think you could've played pait or fast tactic and won, if you used the bench with it.. But he is saying :yes you would have still lost regardless".

Not to put works in his mouth or anything

Patient is a good tactic to minimize the number of possessions in the game. The idea is fewer possessions is fewer points, so it is harder for a better team to run away with a game. The problem with choosing patient for your team is that it is a balanced offense and your team is not balanced. Your inside scoring is almost twice as good as your outside scoring.

If you wanted to minimize possessions and play to your strengths, Low Post is a slow, inside offense and would have been a better choice.

Either way, though your opponent called your pace, so you were starting at a disadvantage right from tip off.

You didn't really have much chance of winning this one unless he threw the match. His team is better at inside and outside scoring, better defensively inside and outside and rebounds better.

Your PF is a great scorer, but he got owned on the boards.

Unless all of your guys have high stamina, you can see how your guys got progressively more tired and missed more shots in the 2nd and 3rd when he was rotating in fresh bodies. They got their second wind in the 4th, but by then it was too late.

Krstanovic had 9 boards and 9 assists, but couldn't find the basket and Chonghuai took him to school as the leading scorer for your opponent.

There really wasn't much chance you would win this one.
