Hello, I just bought a player and his Game Shape dropped from 7 to 6.

If he plays in the scrimmage 48 minutes, is it possible for him to get back at 7 GS?

Are you sure? Game shape reset was done several days ago.
I think that it is also possible that game shape will not be touched at all in the first training update of the season.
GS drop is new feature and if I recall correctly, this is first time we are facing this particular situation.

Hopefully someone can confirm how GS is really acting in the first training update.....

Yeah, I think last season saw the GS drop implemented after that first training week, so tomorrow should be a good measuring stick. My thought would be that all players are again set to respectable GS but it could just be that they stay at whatever they were before the update, which would be unfortunate for me since the guy I purchased today fell to mediocre.

Eventually, he went back at 7 GS after training, but he played full 48 minutes in scrimmage, so I'm not sure if it is due to GS reset or the 48 minutes effect (which usually has a positive effect in GS). We'll have to check more players to be sure...

Mine went back to 7 and he had played more than 90 minutes with his old team.

My rookie transfers went back to 7 GS after 0 minutes. I think it's safe to say they reset GS again.
