Yep you read that right. The guy I'm playing next starts five centers or pf. He runs low post and 2-3. I am not a great outside team as I am also an inside team but I have ran run and gun once this season. I am shooting 39% behind the arc. So I figured against five centers and 2-3 I have no choice. My real question is what defense. I am thinking maybe full court press because hey are bound to have awful handling; however, they already get 4 more rebounds (56-52) then i do so I was think of running 2-3. So should I run full court press (I have never ran it) or 2-3? Thanks for your advice.
I don't think you have anything to worry about. He can't really shoot or defend from the perimeter, and his OF is pathetic (he's averaging almost 18 turnovers a game). Also, his GS is crappy, so he's not even as good this week as he was last week.
I'd recommend playing a Base/M2M or even a Motion if you have the players to pull it off, but I'd steer clear of a R&G if you're worried about the rebounding disadvantage. Or, do what his opponent in the first game did and run a LP/2-3; it totally worked for that guy.
edit: Also, this is slightly off-topic, but are you banking any enthusiasm at all?
