Hey all,

Welcome to season 22. We hope you all enjoy the new features and the changes we've made to the game itself!

During the past seasons there have been many quality discussions in the General forums, which we read but rarely participate in. Probably the best example is the polltopic started by ned (226711.1) that gave us a great overview of the current sentiments within the community, hopefully we will be able to adress some of these issues over the coming seasons.

We'll be trying to improve the communication this season by using this topic as the central point. You can ask us anything you'd like to ask (as long as it doesn't break the forum rules by f.e. discussing individual cheating/admin tickets hehe) and we'll make a selection of some of the questions and answer some of them every week. We cannot guarantee we can answer them all, but we'll do our best! If you feel a question is high priority don't hestitate to 1 ball it so that we'll get a better overview of what's important to answer and what's not.

So, let's see how this works for the coming weeks, we're looking forward to hear all you want to share with us!

I like the new rules for 5th place, but can you explain the rational behind the 50-50 split in gate revenue for all playoff games. The way I see it, all teams will lose money in the playoffs because you have to spend close to your maximum revenue to make the playoffs in competitive leagues.

The playoffs should be financially rewarding for all. Why not add a bonus to all play off teams to ensure this?

For me the biggest concerns right now are the depleting number of users and the feeling that there really is no one behind this game and marin is overworked.

I entered the game after some publicity seen on a NBA website, are you going to repeat those publicity campaigns?

BB-Marin gave on suggestions a hint on why the boxscores are late and that some new things could be tried. Is this one of your priorities? It would be nice to keep us updated just to let us know that there is someone behind the game.

I was hoping something would be done about the use of BLANK LINE-UPS and I was really hoping for a Transfer deadline for the cup(like the one they have for the playoffs and the BB3). I was also kind of disappointed with the achievements feature. It was like car jacking a Daihatsu Hi-jet cargo van that was next to Benzs and BMWs. Of all the things to copy from Hattrick and you chose that one. A major fail in my eyes. the team loyalty feature would have been much better. I also think the 50-50 thing is strange too. Why not just have all the teams pay no salaries for the playoffs....and then the playoff teams get the revenue and the other teams get nothing. This way, 4th still gets 33% and pays no salaries and 5th gets nothing and pays no salaries. It would have been a much better fix.
On a positive note....at least there was change this season....thanks for that. a game that stands still is a dead game..

Thanks for this opportunity for Q&A. Do the BBs have any plans to adjust the fan survey and attendance logic? Especially attendance. It seems that fans would want to come to games if you've been winning games in general that season, not necessarily whether you won your last away game so much. Also, with the fan survey, many times you get 1-ball for the last game's performance even if you only lost by 1 to a top team or even if the game went into overtime. It seems that this might be a fairly easy fix to tweak the attendance or fan survey logic. Thanks!

Any chance we can finally see advanced stats in BB? Advanced stats have become essential in real-life basketball and as games already have an established database of results (and play by play data) they can relatively easily implement most of them.

some of the advanced stats i would like to see in BB:

- Pace (number of possessions a team uses per game)
- Offensive Rating (points scored per 100 possessions)
- Defensive Rating (points allowed per 100 possessions)
- PER (John Hollingers famous player efficiency rating)
- opponents PER
- TS% (shooting percentage that accounts for FTs and 3s)
- Win Shares and Win shares per 48 minutes
- +/- numbers within a season not just a single game
etc.

I am sure all these stats would provide many topics for discussion on the forums and will improve the BB experience.

Achievements page is a great idea, congratulations!
Yet, I have collected all 98 country flags and this achievement is not awarded to my team. Could this be a bug or what?

By the way im with Flamen, my principal question now its about BB publicity campaign, now we are not loosing users but not gaining also...

This thread made my day happier :), it shows that BBs are really motivated to improve the game

I have a simple question.

What point have the new change 50/50% money from PO game?
You are "punishing" those managers who deserve to be on 1st place during the whole season? You take away their 17% of money and give it to managers who don't deserve it during the season.

I hope you will fix this bad change.
