Guys, a very much due update on the NT

Unfortunately my life is a bit hectic so I haven't posted all that much. Rest assured that all my time is spent on analyzing the forhcoming matches and getting the right team to get the job done.

We started well with a relatively easy match against Viet Nam

Now we face a much nastier team: Macedonia.

Back in season 10 we lost badly against them (7615) I hope to take revenge of that defeat here!

This is one of their SG (not their best)

Jump Shot: sensational Jump Range: marvelous
Outside Def.: sensational Handling: sensational
Driving: sensational Passing: prolific
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: pitiful
Rebounding: mediocre Shot Blocking: atrocious
Stamina: awful Free Throw: respectable

Experience: awful

Their star PG is off injured for 2 wks (5232820)

Let's see how we can skin this cat... :)

And revenge was taken... (10132) :)

Not a bad match. This time we did not underestimate the adversary and took the prize.

Now we just wait & hope for a lucky draw!

Very good win Elboss, you got some fantastic team ratings for PTB. Nice to see!

Good luck on the draw, I hope it's better than the U21 team's draw at any rate :S

We are currently 14th on the table. Ideally we'd stay around there for the next few rounds... :)

Today we suffered a heavy loss (10205)
3 damn points :(

An anemic game by Hunter McLeod (4701301) (filling in for the injured Ad Adamson) did not help. Still only 3 damn points and a very bad 3rd quarter...

I find it a bit strange you single out one specific player as having an anemic game after (at PF) 11 points on 5-11 shooting with 15 rebounds.. when another player in the same game (C) has 2 points on 0-8 shooting with only 10 rebounds. Thats probably just me who finds that odd though.

Nah, me too ;-) I'm guessing he meant Dobson played cack, 'cos them there's pretty good stats for a journeyman like McLeod ;-)

:)

Sorry to single out your guy. Thing is I was rather worried about the PF in the game as my first choices were not available :(

You are right, he wasn't the worst at all... Still I wish I had more PF chioces...

A very strange match.. starting pf played only 9 minutes for us 0_o and the worst player became the top-scorer.

And the bench players have almost lost the match, that was won after 3quarters.

Yeah, we had 2 bad losses against teams rated better than us. It's unfortunate, with a bit of luck we should have won one of them...

Looking forward we have more approachable challenges starting with New Zealand at home. However, that is no walkover :(

They have been doing extremely well in the tournament (record of 3-1, 29th place) and put up very good rating, far above what you'd expect by a team rated 70th in the world.

Their roster boasts the usual monster centers. They seem to be weaker on the outside, but when you look at the ratings you see that's not true, very good outside offense.

A tricky one, happy to play this at home!

Wish us luck :)
